Argentinean Dessert - Alfajores

"Alfajor" is a word of Arabic origin being at its beginning "al-hasu", which means: filled. This was a special treat Arabs had, and can be traced back to the VIII century when it was introduced into Spain. Up to this day it is called "alajú" in the Cuenca Region in Spain.
